Vendor Spotlight: Artistic Floral Design

I often get asked about vendors that do quality work and I will be spotlighting some of them in this blog. I have known Valerie, the owner of Artistic Floral Design, for several years and I have always found her designs a source of inspiration. She uses fresh quality flowers and there is always something […]

Red & Ivory Placecards

Here are the red & ivory placecards designed for a December wedding. The ivory cardstock was die cut and embossed to match the classic look of the Christmas Wedding Programs. The interior of the placecards told guests that a donation was made to a local charity by the bride and groom in lieu of favors.

Christmas Wedding Programs

I just wanted to post some photos of some work I recently finished for a December wedding at St. Charles Country Club. The program is Pomegranate red with Pearl ribbon. The interior was done with metallic Pearl paper. The label is embossed at the edges. It created a very elegant timeless look! I took some […]

Invitation Monogram with Crystal

Although monograms date back to about 350 BC, I am happy to say they are still going strong in the world of weddings. In the hands of a designer monograms can go from plain and boring to real head turners. Monograms add a classic and elegant look to invitations but I like to add a […]

They are getting married at Tivoli Too! in Laguna Beach, California, a banquet facility that owns three complexes all within the same area. Although Ron thought I could just take the map from Tivoli’s website, it did not work […]

What a Difference a Ribbon Makes

I took photos of the pine cone invitation with different ribbons so you can see the difference that the choice of ribbon can make. The first photo is of a chocolate satin ribbon. The second photo is of terra cotta raffia giving the invitation a more rustic feel. The third photo is of a wider […]

Designed Wedding Invitation Envelope

I wanted to post some photos of the envelope I designed for the Purple Orchid Invitation. The orchid design ties the envelope to the invitation and  lets guests know that an invitation to a great event is inside. The second  photo shows the custom designed postage stamp that completes the look.
